Scott McGarity

Scott joins the Barber Partners team to manage the Industrial portfolio. Scott is the former Managing Partner of BlackWatch Partners, a Dallas-based real estate operating and investment company that leverages experience and knowledge as building operators and owners to generate superior returns with minimized risk for investors and partners. Over the years he has represented and partnered with institutional and private capital investors, including MetLife, GE, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Lehman Brothers, CW Capital, Orix and Origin Capital, in various capacities: partner, asset strategy, leasing, development, asset/property management and acquisitions/dispositions totaling more than 15 million square feet.

Barber Partners is leveraging Scott's 30 years of multi-market experience, relationships and performance to develop, lease and manage cold storage warehouses throughout the U.S. Scott and team have a high level of experience forecasting emerging market areas and employing a specific asset strategy based on economic demand, market timing, conditions and flexible exit alternatives.
